If you’re a cyclist, a good yoga practice can be super helpful for freeing up your hips, quads, and hamstrings — all of which have the tendency to get tight after a long ride.
After doing some cross country skiing in Colorado, yoga helped out with chilling our our sore muscles. I don’t FULLY recommend doing it while still attached to the skis, but it’s a nice challenge 🙂
Not just for the instagram photos! Sand both helps with balance and stability, and provides great padding if you’re trying more complicated things like headstands or handstands.
